Sourcing Deposit Policy
Version 2026-09-13.1 · New requests only
What you pay for
The USD 100 Sourcing deposit is a one-time payment for agreed research and supplier coordination. It is not a subscription and does not require you to purchase goods. Applicable tax is shown before payment. Your saved agreement controls this request.
Scope and work start
We contact suppliers and compare available options. Where needed and feasible, we may arrange a warehouse visit and visual inspection. Visits, photos and videos depend on the request and access available. Supplier materials are labelled separately from team observations. A visual inspection is not laboratory testing, certification, or a guarantee of product safety. We do not guarantee a match or the lowest market price.
We enter your request into the sourcing queue only after payment is verified. If you do not ask for early performance, work waits until the withdrawal period stated in your agreement has passed. Applicable rights and any longer mandatory period remain protected.
Credit towards goods
The eligible deposit is credited once against the product price of the resulting order linked to this request, in the same currency. It is not transferable, a public discount code, or a general wallet. Refunds reduce the credit. Disputed payments cannot be credited. The final statement separately shows the original deposit, tax, refunds, goods price, credit, delivery and remaining tax. No negative balance is charged. We resolve any excess credit before asking you to accept an offer.
Cancellation and refunds
If GoodGrab declines the request before starting work, we refund the full payment. Mistaken or duplicate payments are refunded after verification. If the agreed service was not supplied, or was not supplied properly, contact us for review and an appropriate remedy, including a full or partial refund where required.
If agreed research was properly completed but you choose not to buy proposed goods, we may retain the amount justified by the completed service, to the extent permitted by law. If no suitable product is found, we review the agreed scope, evidence and work delivered; an unsuccessful search is not automatically treated as full performance. Any partial retention must be explained.
Consumer withdrawal rights
Where a statutory withdrawal period applies, you may cancel within that period. A separate, optional request to begin early does not by itself remove your withdrawal right. Where legally permitted, a proportionate amount for service actually supplied following your express request may be due. Loss of the right after complete performance requires the applicable express consent and acknowledgement, not merely starting work. Contact us to withdraw or request review; we record the time and pause unstarted work while reviewing cancellation.
Separate goods rights
This policy does not remove rights relating to a separate purchase of goods, including applicable returns and remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods. Refunds and deposit credits are different: a credit reduces an agreed product balance; a refund returns money through the original payment provider.
Before work begins
If you withdraw within the applicable statutory period before any work has been supplied, the full payment is refundable. No fee is earned merely by moving a request to Sourcing. Outside a statutory withdrawal period, cancellation requires review of the agreed scope and any justified commitments; no automatic forfeiture applies.
Withdrawal during work
For an eligible EU consumer service, the usual withdrawal period is 14 days from conclusion of the service contract, subject to any extension for missing mandatory information. Where work began during that period at your express request and the required information was given, only a proportionate payment for service actually supplied may be due on withdrawal. We assess the agreed total, actual work, evidence and the legal conditions; starting work alone is not a basis to keep the full fee.
A lawful full-performance exception requires the applicable prior consent and acknowledgement. A declined product proposal alone is not proof of full service performance. Refunds due following statutory service withdrawal are normally made without undue delay and within 14 days of notice, through the original method unless another cost-free method is agreed.
Evidence, unsuccessful searches and decline
A report should record the brief, dates, supplier options considered, relevant comparisons, work performed, source of images and observations, limitations and missing checks. A status label alone is not evidence. If no match is found, assess whether the agreed research outcome was actually supplied. If GoodGrab stops work after starting, explain the reason and refund any unearned amount; mandatory remedies for failure remain available. Duplicate or mistaken payments are reviewed without requiring another paid request.
Accepting a goods offer and additional tax
A separate offer identifies the goods and resulting balance. Eligible paid base amounts, less base refunds, are credited once to that linked goods price. The actual payment and offer breakdown governs promotional reductions and tax. Additional tax is not silently converted into transferable credit; refund tax corrections and accounting treatment must follow the verified payment records and applicable rules. An excess credit needs resolution before acceptance rather than automatic loss.
Contact and review
Use Withdraw from contract here, the cancellation action in your private request workspace, or Contact us. You may also send another unambiguous statement to the confirmed contact address. The public form saves your statement and queues a dated email receipt; transaction verification follows separately. We record the decision, reasons and provider refund status. This policy is a business draft pending the store's country-specific review; it is not a claim of worldwide legal compliance.
